At Vedik Tattva, we take care to pack and dispatch every order with the intention that your products reach you safely, neatly, and in good condition. Our products include food essentials such as ghee, honey, mustard oil, jaggery, natural sweeteners, and other traditional wellness-inspired items, so careful packaging and reliable delivery are important to us.

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on Vedik Tattva are processed, shipped, and delivered.

Order Processing Time

Once your order is successfully placed, our team begins processing it for packing and dispatch.

Most orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after order confirmation.

Orders placed on Sundays, public holidays, or during high-volume festive periods may take slightly longer to process. During festivals, sales, or bulk order periods, dispatch timelines may be extended due to increased order volume.

If your order contains multiple products, we may ship them together or separately depending on availability, packaging safety, and logistics requirements.

Shipping Locations

Vedik Tattva currently ships orders within India.

Delivery availability may depend on the serviceability of your pin code by our courier and logistics partners. If a location is not serviceable, our team may contact you to discuss possible alternatives or cancel/refund the order as applicable.

Estimated Delivery Time

After dispatch, estimated delivery timelines are generally:

Metro cities: 3 to 6 business days
Other cities and towns: 4 to 8 business days
Remote or hard-to-reach locations: 7 to 12 business days

These timelines are estimates and may vary depending on courier availability, weather conditions, public holidays, local restrictions, address accuracy, or other factors beyond our control.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Shipping fees may vary depending on order value, delivery location, product weight, offers, promotions, or shipping method.

If free shipping is available on selected orders or above a certain order value, the same will be clearly reflected during checkout.

Cash on Delivery Orders

Cash on Delivery may be available for selected locations and eligible orders.

If Cash on Delivery is available and selected at checkout, an additional COD handling/shipping charge may apply. Any such charge will be shown during checkout before the order is confirmed.

For COD orders, our team may call or message you to confirm the order before dispatch. If we are unable to verify the order, the order may be delayed or cancelled.

Please keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery to avoid inconvenience.

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, tracking details may be shared with you by SMS, email, WhatsApp, or through the order tracking page, depending on the available courier integration.

You can use the tracking link or tracking number to check the latest delivery status of your order.

Please note that tracking updates may take some time to appear after dispatch.

Incorrect Address or Contact Details

Please ensure that your shipping address, pin code, phone number, and email address are correct at the time of placing the order.

Vedik Tattva will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or return-to-origin cases caused by incorrect, incomplete, or unreachable address/contact details.

If you notice an error in your shipping details after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help if the order has not already been dispatched.

Delivery Attempts

Our courier partner will attempt delivery as per their standard process. If the customer is unavailable, unreachable, or refuses delivery, the order may be marked as failed and returned to us.

For prepaid orders returned due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or refusal of delivery, shipping charges and return logistics charges may be deducted before any eligible refund is processed.

For COD orders, repeated refusal or non-acceptance of delivery may affect future COD availability.

Damaged, Leaked, or Tampered Package

We pack our products carefully, but in rare cases, damage may occur during transit.

If your package appears damaged, leaked, opened, or tampered with at the time of delivery, we recommend that you do not accept the delivery or record clear photos/videos before opening the package.

If you receive a damaged or leaked product, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

Order number
Clear photos of the outer packaging
Clear photos of the damaged product
Unboxing video, if available
Description of the issue

Once verified, we may offer a replacement, refund, or suitable resolution depending on the case.

Please do not discard the product or packaging until the issue has been reviewed by our team.

Delayed Delivery

While we try our best to ensure timely delivery, delays may happen due to reasons beyond our control, including:

Courier delays
Weather conditions
Festive season rush
Public holidays
Transportation disruptions
Remote location access
Incorrect address or customer unavailability
Operational issues at courier hubs

Vedik Tattva will not be liable for delays caused by courier partners or external circumstances, but we will assist you in tracking and resolving delivery issues wherever possible.

Order Splitting

In some cases, your order may be split into multiple shipments. This may happen if products are packed separately for safety, shipped from different stock locations, or require different handling.

If your order is split, you may receive separate tracking details for each shipment.

Bulk Orders and Corporate Gifting Shipments

For bulk orders, corporate gifting, festive gifting, or customized hamper orders, shipping timelines may differ from regular website orders.

Delivery timelines for corporate gifting orders will be discussed and confirmed separately based on quantity, packaging requirements, location, and logistics planning.

Return-to-Origin Shipments

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, customer refusal, or customer unavailability, it will be treated as a return-to-origin shipment.

In such cases:

For prepaid orders, eligible refund may be processed after deducting shipping and return logistics charges, wherever applicable.
For COD orders, the order may be cancelled once returned.
If the customer wants the order shipped again, additional shipping charges may apply.

Delivery Partner Responsibility

Once an order is dispatched, delivery is handled by third-party courier/logistics partners. Vedik Tattva will coordinate and support you in case of delivery issues, but the final delivery timeline may depend on the courier partner’s network and operational conditions.
